Direct Hire Salary Range: $65-80,000
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in a hands-on, full-cycle accounting role within a manufacturing environment. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the business including accounts payable and receivable, bank and cash reconciliations, inventory control, and month-end close. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and has prior experience in a manufacturing setting.

This person will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the business including accounts payable and receivable, bank and cash reconciliations, inventory control, and month-end close. Key Responsibilities of the Accountant Job in Willoughby, OH:
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Post customer payments and monitor AR aging, following up on past due accounts for collection
- Post vendor invoices, monitor vendor accounts, and process weekly bill pay every Thursday
- Process credit card payments
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and cash reconciliations
- Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts and make necessary adjustments
- Support month-end close process
- Generate daily ERP reports for internal customers and provide monthly financial reporting to management
- Manage inventory control including raw materials and finished goods cycle counting
- Process RGAs and provide supporting documentation for auditors
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP systems required — Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) experience is a strong plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable presenting financial information and recommendations to management
