Maintenance Technician
- Garland, TX
- Technical Maintenance experience within:
- Pharmaceutical / Nutraceutical / Cosmetics industries - highly preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and reassemble production filling equipment, including fill valves, cylinders, hoppers, and supply hoses, using hand tools.
- Set up production lines for specific products by adjusting fill volume, setting cap height, date code, and rail width.
- Learn and develop troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system problems.
- Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, such as fillers, pumps, tanks, valves, cappers, and conveyors, utilizing problem-solving skills and knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, bathroom fixtures, and air compressors.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
- Experience in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance and repair.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
