Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and compliance for a large-scale solar farm project in Gilliam County, Oregon. This role is critical to ensuring that all construction and operational activities meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project’s Quality Management Plan.
- Monitor and audit construction activities to ensure adherence to engineering specifications, codes, and standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Conduct inspections and prepare detailed quality reports for stakeholders.
- Manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions to maintain project integrity.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal quality policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within renewable energy, power generation, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in quality documentation and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with solar farm projects or other renewable energy installations.
- Familiarity with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) processes.
