What are the responsibilities and job description for the LNG Completion Engineer position at NES Fircroft?
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that all works at various completion stages are conducted per Project’s HSE procedures and within permitted requirements.
- Monitor the development, population and implementation of project-specific Completions database, ensure that dossiers are populated per Startup scoping, and monitor completeness of dossiers per Contractor and Owner requirements.
- Lead the effort on working closely with internal stakeholders, and act as a single point of contact for the Owner with responsibilities for completions (work scope, punch-list, and dossiers) for System Handover, RFC and RFSU completion.
- Engage in the review and approval of relevant Contractor procedures, including but not limited to the completion aspects of all work activities, punch-list management, completion database Implementation Turnover Plan (both Construction CSU).
- Provide analysis, reports and information to management on status of Completions, identify gaps and provide recommendations to Site/Project/CSU management. Generate weekly completions report for internal stakeholders.
- Monitors the Completion database, extracts and uses the data to report progress on construction’s ability to deliver system turnover skyline, and follow-on progress of Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities.
- Liaise with EPC Contractor’s Completion team to ensure alignment with Owner’s expectations.
- Liaise with Construction, Commissioning, and Operations (when applicable) to establish punch list requirements and provide status reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
