Field Engineer – BESS

Nergon Energy partners with world-class battery manufacturers to deliver high-quality field and commissioning services for large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across the U.S.

We are expanding our team and looking for Field Engineers who are passionate about the clean energy transition and eager to grow into technical and management roles.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in onsite installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BESS systems.
• Support system upgrades and batch rectifications at project sites.
• Collaborate with OEM engineers and construction partners to ensure safe, efficient project delivery.
• Perform technical documentation and reporting during commissioning.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid U.S. work authorization (OPT, TN, H1B, Green Card, etc.).
• Strong learning ability, sense of responsibility, and adaptability to frequent travel.
• Hands-on technical skills or willingness to learn BESS, PCS, and related systems.
• Potential and interest in developing management or leadership capabilities.

Work Location

• Current projects primarily in Texas, with upcoming projects in California, New York, and Michigan.
• Frequent travel and outdoor work required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive monthly pay: $5,000 – $6,000 depending on experience.
