Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service
- Assist with bussing tables, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly to keep the dining area tidy
- Support food service operations by delivering orders accurately and promptly from the kitchen to guests
- Handle food preparation tasks with proper food handling techniques, adhering to safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant, including dining rooms, kitchen stations, and service areas through regular cleaning duties
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs proactively
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience in serving or bussing in busy dining settings demonstrates ability to work efficiently under pressure
- A background in the food industry or related fields such as hotel or hospitality work is advantageous
