- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately by documenting patient encounters, medical histories, ICD coding, and treatment plans.
- Support medical office operations by scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling administrative support tasks.
- Prepare patients for examinations while ensuring comfort and safety in outpatient.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management tools.
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and professionalism.
- Familiarity with ICD coding, pharmacology principles, and physiology concepts relevant to outpatient care
