Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable functions with an emphasis on accurately processing invoices and payments in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities

- Process invoices. Reviewing for accuracy and verifying approval for payment.
- Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Contact vendors and suppliers with invoice discrepancies, billing issues, and payment inquiries.
- Manage billing process. Prepare and issue payments with established procedures.
- Maintain accounting systems by updating account records, including invoices, and payment documentation.
- Assist with month-end close, monthly statements and account reconciliations.
- Support administrative functions, such as scanning, filing, copying, and data entry.
- Collection and submission of monthly physician timesheets and allocation of associated income
- Renewing annual business licenses
- Maintain a working knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices related to accounts payable.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite in-office in Newark, Delaware.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
