Overview: This position is responsible for receiving incoming telephone calls in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner and greeting/assisting visitors in the same manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Answer and Triage calls
- Triage Critical Labs
- Prescription Refills
- Prescription Prior Authorizations
- Coordinates Dialysis Admissions
- Schedule biopsies and follow up with patient
- Rooming patients as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of EMR system and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office setting
- Daily standing, walking, bending, and maneuvering to be expected.
- Should have good finger dexterity, clerical perception, motor coordination, and eyehand coordination.
- Should have good visual acuity.
- Possess ability to talk, sit, use hands, hear, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- This position works in an environment with moderate noise level. (Examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic.)
- Proper PPE should be worn.
