Position Overview
The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting a diverse range of client environments. This role requires a strong technical foundation across systems, networks, and cloud platforms, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, implement reliable, secure solutions, and create/update documentation for whole team visibility. The Systems Administrator works closely with other staff, provides escalation support, and plays a key role in maintaining system stability and cybersecurity across all managed clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Windows server environments, Microsoft 365 tenants, and core network infrastructure for multiple clients
- Serve as an escalation point for advanced helpdesk tickets and complex technical issues
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues using RMM tools
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and identity security (including MFA and access controls)
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Perform patch management and ensure systems remain up to date and secure
- Set up, support, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and network security configurations
- Assist in planning, quoting, and executing client projects, including migrations and infrastructure upgrades
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client environments and procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding technical issues, resolutions, and recommendations
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or MSP environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration
- Experience configuring and managing networking infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection and backup strategies
- Experience with RMM and PSA tools preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple client environments and priorities effectively
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for on-site support as needed)
Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA Network , Security , or equivalent
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure, M365, Windows Server)

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
