What are the responsibilities and job description for the Core Systems Administrator position at American Bank?
Join our team! We're looking for IT Professional with experience in Microsoft server platforms and Desktop support.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and administer Windows servers supporting core system. This responsibility extends to production, test, and alternate production site installations.
2. Deploy and support all network printers including application specific installations.
3. Maintain and ensure successful backups and replication of bank data.
4. Lead support efforts for all desktop business applications deployed at the bank.
5. Execute assigned responsibilities for activating the Disaster Recovery Plan in the event of a disaster.
6. Work with business customers to deploy bank products. Provide system support for customers, as necessary. Maintain database, website, and user application.
7. Set up and prepare new/upgrade computers for team members.
A four-year degree in Computer Science or similar technology area is preferred, along with a minimum of three years’ experience applying technical skills in a corporate or financial services environment.
While every effort is made to work standard hours (i.e. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday), as with any technology-focused job, there may be times where after-hour activities will require working non-standard hours on occasion.
