We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Absence and Disability Specialist to support day-to-day absence management operations for Long Island. The ideal candidate will coordinate with external vendors, communicate with employees and managers regarding leave status and time coding, maintain accurate records, and assist with process improvements and data consolidation.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day absence and disability management activities.
Coordinate with third-party vendors, including United Review, MetLife, and Liberty Mutual.
Communicate with employees and managers regarding leave status, updates, and time-coding questions.
Use Microsoft Excel to maintain, review, and organize absence-related information.
Assist in improving existing processes and administrative workflows.
Consolidate information from existing records into a new file-feed format.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure attention to detail across all assigned tasks.
Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and responding to stakeholder inquiries.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable using computer applications and handling employee records.
