Job Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and reconcile discrepancies across multiple data sources
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to investigate complex data inconsistencies and conflicting identifiers
- Experience working with mapping tools, transit-related data, or geographic information systems (GIS)
- Ability to interpret transit signage, route information, and real-world stop conditions accurately
- Comfortable using third-party imagery platforms such as Google Street View and Cyclomedia
- Ability to conduct field visits and document conditions using specialized equipment such as 360 cameras and Jones counters
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and data structures
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for fieldwork when required
Responsibilities
- Reconcile and validate data across multiple systems, datasets, and operational sources to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Investigate and resolve duplicate, missing, or conflicting identifiers and other complex data discrepancies
- Analyze transit and operational data to identify inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions
- Review and interpret transit signage, stop locations, and route conditions using mapping and imagery tools
- Utilize platforms such as Google Street View and Cyclomedia to verify real-world conditions remotely
- Conduct field visits to collect, verify, and document location and infrastructure data using specialized equipment including 360 cameras and Jones counters
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to field observations and data validation activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integrity, operational improvements, and reporting accuracy
- Adapt to evolving transit systems, operational procedures, and technology platforms as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in data analysis, transportation, operations, procurement, logistics, or related fields
- Strong experience handling large datasets, administrative processes, reporting, or operational analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and data reporting tools
- Experience with mapping tools, GIS platforms, or data visualization systems is a plus
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
