What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Finish Carpenter/Mechanic position at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center?
The Finish Carpenter/Maintenance Mechanic performs construction and renovation hospital-wide and performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all non-medical equipment and systems hospital wide. Performs rounds of the facility daily. Responsible for daily record keeping of jobs, time and material used. Take call during off-hours on a scheduled basis to ensure the integrity of the facility. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) preferred.
- Needs a working knowledge of finish carpentry skills including framing, dry wall work, ceramic tile, counter tops, painting, mill work, and minor electrical and plumbing.
- Needs a working knowledge of maintenance mechanic works and repairs.
- Must have the ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions.
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION:
- Current valid Driver’s License with no restrictions on driving.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous carpentry experience required.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
