What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications Officer position at Neosho County?
The Neosho County 911 Communication Center is accepting applications for multiple full-time 911 Communication Officers. The Neosho County Emergency Operation Center is a state-of-the-art facility. No prior experience is necessary. We provide an extensive training program. Starting wage is $17.87 per hour. There is an additional $1.00 per hour for shift differential hours. Duties include answering administrative and 911 phone calls, and dispatching emergency services. This position provides an excellent opportunity for entry level experience into the law enforcement field. Applicants will be required to pass a written test, typing test, CVSA (lie detector) test, drug test, and background investigation.
