The Revenue Accounting Manager will manage the daily operations of the Company’s revenue cycle through design, implementation, and management of all business functions and procedures of the revenue process. This includes such procedures as contract review, revenue recognition policies, systems implementations, revenue/deferred revenue reconciliations and managing outside auditors.
This position will oversee a Revenue Accountant and will be reporting to the Accounting Director.
Candidates who are local residents in Los Angeles, the expectation to commute to our El Segundo office will be 2 days/month ; candidates residing outside LA, the expectation to commute to our El Segundo office will be 2- 4 times/year.
Review contracts and modifications to determine appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with ASC 606.
Manage the implementation of a new revenue system (Right Rev) and contribute to the integration of the two Billing systems.
Perform monthly close duties including review of the credit memo listing, review of the revenue/deferred revenue subledger, and ensuring data integrity between our systems.
Revamp and document revenue recognition policies, implementing new processes company wide as deemed necessary.
Act as an SME for all things Revenue.
Review customer billing process making revenue adjustments when necessary.
Support external audits of the company’s financial statements, including preparation of audit schedules and other audit deliverables as requested.
Assist in SOX implementation and maintenance.
Highly detailed, organized, and able to handle multiple competing deadlines.

What You Have
6 years overall experience in revenue accounting with a Software or SaaS company and 3 years of management experience
Public accounting experience and CPA is preferred.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP with experience in the application of ASC 606 and SOX 404.
Demonstrated ability and motivation to work collaboratively across regions and functions, as well as working independently with minimal oversight.
Strong systems experience-Knowledge of Netsuite, SaaSOptics and Salesforce Billing is preferred.
