Shipping Clerk

Position Summary:

This position performs packaging, storage and distribution of finished products in the distribution department. Also supports other material handling duties in the operations area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs activities related to sales and service shipments. Including product packaging, label printing, creating work orders, material transactions and shipping products.
• Accepts incoming material, confirming paperwork is accurate and materials are received in good condition.
• Maintains accurate warehouse inventory, including storage and issuing materials.
• Executes core duties and responsibilities of the role in accordance with the established skills competencies.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or related field of study, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 1-3 years of material handling and/or shipping experience is required. Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Proficient in understanding and interpretation of written and verbal instructions, direction, and technical information.
• Basic computer competency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and business specific software (e.g. ERP, eQMS, CAD).
