A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides direct treatment and assists in the monitoring of individual goals under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist. knowledge in their daily workplace activities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an Associate OTA Degree program
- Valid OTA Oklahoma state licensure and certification (or ability to apply)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
- HIPAA knowledge and compliance
Experience in a clinical or school setting is preferred.
