Role Description:
A Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) provides direct treatment and assists in the monitoring of individual goals under the direction and supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist. Qualifications:
- Completion of an Associate SLPA Degree program or Bachelor's
- Degree in Communication Disorders or related degree.
- Valid Oklahoma SLPA License (or ability to apply)
- Experience working with individuals with communication
- disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
- HIPAA knowledge and compliance
Experience in a clinical or school setting is preferred.
