Position OverviewThe Transportation Coordinator plays a central role in daily operations — scheduling routes, communicating with families and districts, assigning drivers, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards. This position requires strong organizational abilities, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and schedule daily student transportation routesAct as the primary communication point for districts, drivers, and familiesManage route changes, attendance, and driver coverageEnsure timely and safe pickups/drop-offsMonitor safety guidelines, compliance, and vehicle readinessAssist with onboarding new drivers and required documentationMaintain accurate logs, files, and communication recordsSupport operational improvements and service quality initiativesQualificationsFluent in English and Portuguese (required)Spanish proficiency a strong plusExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong organization and multitasking abilitiesProficiency with scheduling software, Google Workspace, Excel, Word, or similar toolsExperience in transportation, dispatch, or logistics preferredMust pass CORI, SORI, and all applicable background checksReliable, professional, and committed to student safety
