Our premier client is seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer to join their team.

This role offers flexibility and does not require the candidate to be located in the New England area. Remote work arrangements are available, though licensing in applicable states will be necessary.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited school
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in CT, RI, MA, or other New England states preferred. Candidates with PEs in other states will also be considered. (Please note that California is more difficult due to licensing requirements, but the role does not need to be based in New England.)
- Experience performing roadway and/or traffic design, with the ability to develop solutions for a wide range of transportation problems and needs
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, with familiarity with the AASHTO Green Book and other key transportation-related guides and standards
- Experience with state DOT guidelines and procedures preferred
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare study and design reports, collaborate with internal project teams, and interact with state agencies, municipal review boards, and clients
- Ability to assist in proposal preparation and contribute to business development efforts
