We are looking for a dependable Inventory Specialist to join our team! This position plays an important role in supporting both our Sales and Service Departments by maintaining an organized, customer-ready vehicle inventory and ensuring our dealership lot meets Nelson Auto Group's appearance standards. Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain the appearance of dealership inventory by cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors.
  • Replenish vehicle fluids and replace batteries as needed.
  • Install buyer guides, stock tags, and other required vehicle documentation.
  • Keep dealership lots clean, organized, and aligned with merchandising standards.
  • Move vehicles throughout the dealership as directed by management.
  • Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, parking areas, and other dealership locations.
  • Create key tags and maintain accurate vehicle key inventory.
  • Retrieve and deliver vehicles across dealership property locations.
  • Assist with lot organization to maximize vehicle presentation and accessibility.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure vehicles are customer-ready.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous automotive dealership or lot attendant experience is preferred but not required.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude with a customer-first mindset.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
  • Ability to safely operate and park a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
  • Frequent walking across dealership lots and service areas.
  • Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Comfortable working around moving vehicles and dealership equipment.

Salary : $29,714 - $40,921
