We’re looking for a warm, dependable Nanny & Household Manager to care for our toddler son, Leo, and help keep our household running smoothly.

Leo is an active, curious little guy who loves being outside, exploring, and learning through play. We’re hoping to find someone nurturing, organized, proactive, and excited about building a long-term relationship with our family.

About Our Family

We’re a young family living in the Evanswood neighborhood of Maple Grove. Both parents primarily work outside the home, with occasional work-from-home days. We also have a small, friendly dog who may need an occasional let-out during the day.

We’ve been fortunate to have great caregivers and are looking for someone who wants to settle into a stable, long-term role and become a trusted part of our household.

The Role

This is a blended nanny household management position. Leo and his needs always come first. During naps, independent play, or other downtime, the role shifts toward helping keep the household organized and running smoothly.

Childcare Responsibilities

• Daily care and supervision of our toddler
• Planning age-appropriate activities, outings, and enrichment
• Supporting consistent routines for naps, meals, and play
• Encouraging development through reading, hands-on learning, outdoor time, and interactive play
• Transporting Leo to occasional activities and outings

Household & Family Support

• Keeping common areas and Leo’s spaces tidy and organized
• Dishwasher and kitchen reset
• Family and child laundry as needed
• Meal planning, light family meal prep, and toddler meal prep
• Keeping household and childcare supplies stocked
• Grocery runs, Target runs, returns, and other occasional errands
• Helping organize areas such as the pantry, refrigerator, play spaces, closets, and entry areas
• Proactively noticing household needs and helping create systems that keep things running smoothly
• Letting our dog out as needed

This is not a deep-cleaning or housekeeping position. We are looking for someone who enjoys the organizational and family-support side of household management in addition to childcare.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week / 80 hours per pay period
• Start Date: November 2, 2026 preferred
• Pay: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Commitment: Minimum one-year commitment, with the hope of finding someone interested in staying longer term

Guaranteed hours remain in place when our family travels. During weeks when Leo is traveling with us, scheduled work time may shift toward household organization, errands, meal prep, and other home-support projects.

Time Off & Benefits

• 10 paid days off per year, which may be used for vacation, personal time, or illness
• Paid holidays when they fall on scheduled workdays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Guaranteed weekly hours
• Mileage reimbursement or access to a family vehicle for work-related driving, as applicable

• Have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Are looking for a stable, long-term position with a supportive family
