We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements
- Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and fixture mounting
- Install doors, siding, drywall (plastering), flooring, and other finishing materials with precision
- Utilize woodworking machines and fabrication techniques for custom carpentry projects while adhering to safety protocols such as power tool safety guidelines
- Follow safety procedures consistently to ensure a secure work environment for all team members
Skills
- Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools for woodworking and general carpentry tasks
- Knowledge of wood construction materials including framing lumber, plywood, siding materials, trim components, and cabinetry
- Familiarity with woodworking machines such as saws, planers, drills, or similar fabrication tools is a plus
- Strong understanding of power tool safety standards and proper handling techniques for all equipment used on-site
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation or restoration tasks
- Experience in residential carpentry including door hanging, fixture installation, remodeling projects or renovation work
- Basic electrical experience including fixture wiring or troubleshooting is advantageous but not required
