Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform a variety of construction and restoration tasks, including framing, drywall installation, cabinetry, roofing, and general carpentry work. Your hands-on expertise will help us deliver top-quality restoration services while maintaining safety and efficiency on every project.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
- Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation
- Perform residential carpentry tasks such as door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and drywall finishing
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure smooth workflow on construction sites
- Use woodworking machines safely for fabrication and custom carpentry projects
- Execute restoration duties including mold remediation, water damage repair, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation
- Support remodeling projects by installing flooring, tiles, metal studs, and performing electrical or plumbing tasks as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating and reading blueprints or construction plans
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking and general carpentry
- Strong understanding of residential carpentry techniques including framing, siding, drywall finishing, and fixture installation
- Experience with construction site safety protocols related to power tools and heavy lifting
- Knowledge of various wood construction materials and their applications in remodeling or restoration projects
- Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics for electrical or plumbing systems
- Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and restoration industry practices including mold remediation and water damage restoration

Pay: $20.00 - $31.33 per hour
