Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, OpenTable and Toast, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision
- Assist in food preparation or bussing tables as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations throughout service
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems such as Micros POS, Open Table and Toast or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Proven ability to upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while multitasking seamlessly
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience, including fine dining environments preferred
