What You’ll Do
- Assist with installation of fire sprinkler systems in new and existing buildings
- Support inspection, testing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems
- Work with piping, valves, and related system components
- Read and follow blueprints and job specifications
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow all safety standards and job site procedures
- Travel to job sites and work as part of a crew
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Interest in hands-on, mechanical work
- Ability to work in construction and job site environments
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working at heights and in various conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Must meet Local 669 apprenticeship program requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job sites
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment
- Willingness to travel as needed throughout the Indianapolis metro area
- HS Diploma or GED
