Job Summary:
The Document Control Clerk provides support services for the documentation of company policies, procedures, engineering drawings, work orders, bill of materials (BOM), and other records for the Manufacturing Engineering department and the Production department.
Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of related experience
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Following NEL’s ISO (Internal Standards of Operation), assist Management and Engineers with creation of and updates to Company Procedures, Drawings, Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s), Bills of Materials (BOM’s), Process Control Procedures, and Specifications/Data Sheets.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering in the processing of Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) and updating in-progress Work Orders in MRP system.
- Review and update documents for accuracy.
- Create and maintain logs for the flow of documentation within the organization.
- Conversion and updating of procedures and records to current versions; ensure that obsolete documents are archived.
- Perform required filing of both electronic and printed documents in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist with retrieval of records.
- Distribute authorized/controlled documents to appropriate personnel in print or digital format.
- Create specialized database reports as needed.
- Assist the Customer Service and other departments regarding orders, filing documents, and completing other projects as needed

- Competent computer skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), current ERP system
- Able to handle multiple assignments with limited supervision
