We’re hiring an experienced Office Manager & Bookkeeper (part-time 20-25 hours) to manage the financial and administrative operations for two owner-led businesses: a custom home builder and a boutique agritourism ranch.
This role requires professionalism, accuracy, discretion, and independence. You’ll work directly with the owner and be trusted with core business systems.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping
- Manage QuickBooks (or similar)
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Job costing (construction experience preferred)
- Monthly financial reports
- Coordination with CPA
Office Management
- Vendor setup, W-9s, insurance docs
- Contract and document organization
- Payroll coordination and onboarding paperwork
- Admin support and calendar coordination
- Improve and maintain clean systems
- Admin /Schedule support for owners
Multi-Business Support
- Construction draws, vendor payments
- Construction schedule support and communication
- Construction document tracking and ordering support
- Ranch income tracking (retail, tours, lodging, events)
- POS reconciliation and deposits
Qualifications
- Proven bookkeeping experience (small business required)
- Construction or hospitality experience strongly preferred
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong communication skills
- Tech-savvy (QuickBooks, Google Drive, spreadsheets)
