Position Overview:
As a Plow Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating skid loaders and/or wheel loaders to clear snow from commercial properties all located in Shakopee. You’ll play a crucial role in keeping our clients’ properties safe and accessible during the winter months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate skid loaders and wheel loaders to remove snow from parking lots and other designated areas.
- Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections.
- Work in various weather conditions, including snowstorms and cold temperatures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating skid loaders and wheel loaders, especially for snow removal, is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
- Must be able to work in cold and challenging weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
