Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations, including patient management, scheduling, and staff coordination to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality care delivery.
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, billing, coding accuracy, and fiscal management to maintain the practice’s financial health.
- Supervise healthcare staff including medical assistant, and administrative support personnel, foster a positive team environment through effective human resources practices.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and state/federal policies related to medical records, medical billing, and patient privacy.
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate electronic health records management and patient information security.
- Coordinate with providers on utilization management, managed care policies, and clinical workflows to optimize patient outcomes.
- Implement quality assurance initiatives to uphold accreditation standards and improve service delivery across all facets of the practice.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office or healthcare practice management within a clinical or dental setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing procedures, health regulation policies, and compliance standards such as HIPAA.
- Demonstrated fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and managing practice expenses effectively.
- Supervisory experience managing teams in healthcare environments; excellent managerial communication skills are essential.
