Neighborhood Veterinary Centers (NVC) is a 100% family-owned, community-focused veterinary group built on small-town values and modern medicine. Our NVC Groves location is reopening, and we’re looking for a Veterinary Technician who thrives in a close-knit, collaborative 1-doctor practice where teamwork and communication truly matter.
The Role
As a Veterinary Technician at NVC Groves, you’ll work side-by-side with our doctor and team to deliver high-quality patient care and a positive client experience. This role is ideal for a technician who values consistency, autonomy, and being an essential part of daily operations.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the doctor with exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatments
- Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and recovery care
- Provide hands-on nursing care and perform lab work
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding medications and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate medical records and support inventory and patient flow
- Help create a clean, organized, and team-oriented hospital environment
What We’re Looking For
- Veterinary Technician experience REQUIRED
- Comfortable working in a 1-doctor practice setting
- LVT/RVT/CVT preferred but not required
- Dependable, team-focused, and client-centered
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
