Responsibilities
- Interview pet owners to obtain a patient history
- Take vital signs, acquire blood samples and placing IV catheters
- Assist with surgeries and monitor animals after surgery
- Administer medications and provide at-home dosage instructions for clients
- Keep accurate patient records
- Animal handling and restraint
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician minimum 3 years
- Knowledge of animal care vaccines, medicine, and handling
- Overall Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment
- Patience and a love for animals
- Salary ranges from $17.00-$25.00 based on experience.
- Full time position working weekends (40 Hours)
