Veterinary Assistant responsibilities include assisting the Veterinarian with appointments, laboratory sample handling, Holding for Veterinary technician and communicating with clients about treatment plans. You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all of our pet patients. If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we’d like to meet you.Responsibilities: Interview pet owners to obtain a patient historyTaking vital signs for example Temperature's, Pulse, RespirationGo over medications and provide at-home instructions for clients from the doctor orders.Keep accurate patient records Animal handling and restraint for example hold for blood samples and IV cathetersQualifications Previous experience as a Veterinary AssistantKnowledge of animal care vaccines, medicine, and handlingOverall Excellent communication skills Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environmentPatience and a love for animalsSalary ranges from $17.00-$25.00 based on experience.Shift and schedule Full-time working weekends (40 Hours)
