Job Description:
We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team! The Human Resources Assistant is an important addition to the HR Team and is responsible for the administrative support and day-to-day operations of the Department. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, ethical, and self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of personnel files;
- Accurately complete HRIS data entry;
- Perform reference, background and credit checks, education and employment verification, along with other necessary or mandated new hire functions;
- Assist employees with basic interpretation of HR inquiries;
- Support a variety of Human Resources projects;
- Accurately and promptly reply to phone, e-mail and in-person inquiries to the HR Department;
- Provide additional clerical support for the HR department.
Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or human resources degree or certification
- Prior human resources related experience preferred
- HRIS, ADP Workforce Now knowledge desired
