Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development and Marketing Coordinator to support the expansion of our service offerings and enhance our market presence. This hybrid role combines business development activities with marketing execution, ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a small-business environment. The position offers a base salary plus commission structure, rewarding contributions to revenue growth through new client acquisition and service promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, outreach to potential clients (e.g., golf courses, neighborhoods, HOAs, and commercial properties), and relationship-building with existing customers.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including social media management, email marketing, content creation, and local advertising.
- Coordinate promotional events, community outreach, and partnerships to increase brand visibility in the Greater New Orleans and Northshore areas.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas in the golf cart service industry.
- Maintain and update customer databases, track sales leads, and prepare regular reports on business development and marketing performance.
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as flyers, website content, and promotional collateral.
- Support overall sales efforts by following up on inquiries and helping convert leads into service appointments.
- Collaborate with the owner and team to align marketing and development initiatives with company goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a similar role (experience in automotive, recreational vehicle, or service industries is a plus).
- Proven ability to generate leads and contribute to revenue growth.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and basic CRM software.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required, as local travel for networking and events may be necessary).
- Passion for community engagement and interest in the golf cart or outdoor recreation sector is highly desirable.
