Job Purpose:
The Step Case Coordinator is responsible for supporting clients through coordinated services, timely communication, and through documentation. This role ensures that the client receive appropriate resources, follow-up, and support by working closely with the case managers, service providers, and community partners.
The Case Coordinator will provide essential operational support, maintain a safe and supportive living environment, and facilitate meaningful programming for residents in a grant-funded affordable housing program dedicated to individuals with a history of substance abuse. Contributing directly to the Neighborhood Center's mission to house the homeless and foster recovery, this position will play a crucial role in residents’ success and journey toward stable sober living.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of compassion and dedication to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and substance abuse, coupled with solid organizational and operational skills to manage program logistics and maintain a safe environment. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with residents and collaborate effectively within a team, along with relevant experience in supportive services, housing, or substance abuse treatment, including proficient record-keeping and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The program has obtained secure funding through March 2027; potential for extensions will be discussed in the fourth quarter of 2026.
