Main Responsibilities
- Provide training about: introduction to Q&EMS, SFI, NICS, DOT.
- Solve customer complaints on time, coordinating containment actions (quality alert, sorting material, RMA) and the root cause and corrective/preventive actions.
- Make follow up to 8DNCRs, 8DComplaints, 8DSCARs, Product Discrepancies in NICS and compile evidences for Corrective / Preventive actions.
- Perform FMEA and Control Plan for the operational processes.
- Consolidate the results of quality and environmental KPIs.
- Perform customized FAIs or PPAPs.
- Securing product quality in new products by proposing measures to control or improve the final products to meet established quality standards.
- Control of measuring devices (calibrations / verifications), including annual verification of measuring tapes.
- Document tests for RISE packaging in NICS.
- Analyze weekly the Product Discrepancies report (scrap, reworks, etc.) and present results to the operations team to improve the performance.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Policies and Procedures.
- Other duties as needed.
EDUCATION
- University Degree (B.S. in Systems Engineering preferred or equivalent to experience).
- 2 years in quality assurance.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
