Production scheduling of Manufacturing (Thermoforming) to ensure on-time shipments to customers while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.

Production scheduling of Manufacturing (Thermoforming) to ensure on-time shipments to customers while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
Main Responsibilities
- Review the master schedule for upcoming production line requirements.
- Develop the schedule of production for lines to ensure on time customer delivery. Advise the Purchasing Team as to increases or decreases in production plans
- Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Production schedule optimization (initial publication, communication to planner and adjustments as needed daily)
- Perform in-process inspections and fill out relevant paperwork
- Review packaging material situation with purchasing team weekly to ensure no shortages for current or upcoming week; complete as needed and in response to unexpected events
- Daily/Weekly reports to include but not limited to: Raw Materials, Scrap, Regrind, and Run Rate, Production OEE
- Daily follow up on Assembly, Packaging, and Manufacturing Teams to ensure production targets are being met. Make adjustments and communicate with teams as needed
- Attend daily meetings and share requested results: daily form for yesterday, plan for today, scheduling issues.
- Keeping stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines
- Related experience in planning
- Scheduling and planning techniques appropriate to the job
- Minimum 2-3 years-experience using MRP systems
- Detail Oriented with demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Office applications
- Able to read and follow complex written instructions
- Must have your own transportation
