The Loan Administrative Supervisor will be responsible for the management, direction and development of commercial real estate loan assistants and construction disbursement specialists who support the commercial real estate banking staff. In addition, the individual will be responsible for ensuring department procedures as well as loan documentation are in compliance State and Federal regulations and will serve as the department liaison between the department and the closing attorneys, various vendors, loan operations and other bank departments. This individual also represents the CML RE Banking Group at Monthly Compliance Meetings and is responsible for updating the team on various compliance related items. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESOversee and supervise the daily activities of the commercial loan assistant(s) and construction disbursement specialist(s). Manage their work schedules, timesheets and professional developmentManage the department's loan onboarding reporting functionsReview system generated reports and ensure errors are identified and corrected as neededPromote and ensure first class customer service for internal and external clients and prospects through consistent performance management and effective coaching of staffManage “hand off” of loan to the Loan Operations group for loan closing and funding process. Ensure proper pre-closing loan documentation and reporting is on fileMaintain system and document controls to exhibit completeness and accuracy of files and required documents in accordance with commercial lending procedures and compliance regulationsOversee completion of incomplete files and monitor/control follow-up as neededManage department compliance with various regulation including HMDA and CRA reporting for commercial lending functions, CIP and Beneficial Ownership Interest Represent the CML RE department on the bank's compliance committees and task forcesRespond to internal and external customer inquiries and internal and external audit and loan review requestsManage daily overdraft decision and invoice payments for CML RE; and, Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS Strong knowledge of CML RE LendingThorough understanding of loan file and legal documentsSolid knowledge of commercial compliance regulationsAbility to manage and develop other employeesHighly motivated and experienced managing multiple direct reportsFluent in written and verbal English communication skillsProven organizational skillsDemonstrate and promote high ethical standards and behaviorsAbility to build strong relationships across the organizationProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Loan Operating SystemsAbility to adhere to Needham Bank's Core Values (Focus on Customer Relationship, Embrace Change, Work as a Team, Be an Asset to Your Community, Always Learn, and Do the Right Thing)EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree or five plus years of current and progressive experience within the functional area, at least two of which are in a management/supervisory positionFive plus years' experience in a loan processing /servicing environment preferredWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDSNormal business office environmentPAY RANGE: $75,247.15 - $105,346.01/yearThe pay range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the pay range for this job at the time of posting.
