We are seeking Tower Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong telecommunications background, a commitment to safety, a keen eye for detail, pride in workmanship and an excellent ability to work in a team environment. As a Tower Technician, you will assist the lead with the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications sites and related equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time, and to the highest standards.
A $1,500 Sign On Bonus may be offered for this position!
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to interpret and build to CD’s, RFDS, MA, SA, & SOW
- Proficient in safe climbing and industry rigging operations
- Proficient in rigging/signaling best practices
- Proficient in RF and steel install/modification
- Ability to exhibit strong leadership skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to obtain required closeout documentation
- Effective communication skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred

Qualifications:
- 2 years minimum of industry climbing experience (2 years or experience preferred, not required)
- Reliable transportation
- Valid drivers license
- Background check followed by review
- Drug screening and physical followed by passing background check
- Problem solving
- Demonstrate good time management skills and adhere to site deadlines
- Dependable
Position requires the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift body weight, PPE, equipment, tools and/or boxes. You must be able to safely perform the following types of activities daily as a part of your regular duty position.
- Lift/Carry 0-100 lbs. depending upon role, height of lift 0-8’ depending upon role, distance of carry varies based upon position.
- Pushing up to 75 lbs. occasionally up to 33% of the workday.
- Pulling up to 75 lbs. frequently up to 60% of the workday.
- Climbing and balancing - constantly up to 90% of the workday.
- Bending, squatting, reaching, fingering, feeling and repetition frequently up to 66% of the workday.
