Major Food Distributor located in Hunts Point Cooperative Market in the Bronx is looking for a Full-Time Sales Representative. As a Sales Representative, you will ensure that sales grow in the Northeastern region. This position will be reporting from the New York headquarters office and will be responsible for developing profitable new business as well as growing sales in existing assigned accounts in the Northeastern area. The Sales Representative responds to our customers’ needs, monitor accounts receivables, and build strong relations while controlling expenses within budget guidelines.
- Achieve and/or exceed sales and gross margin budget
- Ensure new and existing accounts meet the company credit & accounts receivable guidelines
- Review Accounts receivables on a weekly basis and take appropriate action to keep customers within terms
- Evaluate Customer Sales through weekly order review
Work Environment:
- Outdoor/Indoor work
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- Minimum of one year of prior experience in a similar function
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s license
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, outlook)
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to travel as required
- Able to work in varying settings (different customer locations, vehicle, or office environment
- Strong organizational skills and customer service skills with a great attention to detail
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Bilingual (fluent in English & Spanish) a plus
- Experience in distribution sales
- Two years of sales experience

Salary : $66,300 - $85,000
