Receptionist/Customer Service Representative

The Nebraska Energy Federal Credit Union is looking for an energetic individual to fill our Receptionist/Member Service Representative position. This position provides member service in an expedient, accurate and courteous manner while answering members request over the phone.

Primary responsibilities are:

- Answers phone and directs callers to the appropriate person

- Maintains assigned records, files and reports as well as assigned administrative responsibilities

- Balancing spreadsheets at the end of the day

- Performs transactional duties in person and over the phone for members

- Conduct member transactions including: loan payments, deposits, withdrawals and transfers

- Supports overflow needs both within and outside the department

- Ability to resolve issues and determine the best solution to meet the member’s needs.

- Provide informed, prompt, professional and accurate service, and support to all members by responding to e-mail and phone messages

- Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union products.

- Sustain confidentiality of members information

Qualifications and Skills:

- Ability to work as a critical member of a team

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to build rapport

- Positive attitude and excellent customer service required

- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday 8am-5pm. Salary commensurate with experience. We offer benefits, which include, health insurance, retirement benefits, vacation, and sick leave, short- and long-term disability. Salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
