Dry Cleaning Store Manager

Nebo Laundry & Dry Cleaning is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Dry Cleaning Drop Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our retail locations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, solving problems, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring every customer receives high-quality garment care.

Key Responsibilities Store Operations

• Oversee the daily operation of the dry cleaning drop store.
• Ensure all garments are properly received, tagged, processed, and returned accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
• Monitor workflow to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Fill in for team members as needed to maintain smooth store operations.

Staff Management

• Recruit, interview, train, and onboard new employees.
• Manage employee schedules.
• Supervise and coach staff to maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and customer service.
• Provide ongoing feedback, training, and performance coaching.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.

Customer Service

• Greet every customer in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with garment intake, answering questions, and recommending appropriate services.
• Address customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
• Resolve service issues while protecting both the customer relationship and the company's best interests.
• Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service.

Garment Processing

• Inspect garments upon intake for stains, damage, missing buttons, and special care instructions.
• Properly tag and record garments using a computer, printer, and barcode scanner.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records.
• File completed orders and accurately retrieve garments for customer pickup.
• Ensure garments are handled carefully and returned in excellent condition.

Inventory & Store Maintenance

• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, packaging materials, tags, and other store necessities.
• Place supply orders as needed to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Keep the front counter, workstations, and customer areas clean, organized, and inviting.

Problem Solving

• Analyze garment issues and customer concerns to make sound decisions.
• Follow company policies while exercising good judgment.
• Represent the company's best interests in all customer interactions.
• Communicate effectively with the production plant regarding garment questions or special requests.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
• Comfortable using computers, POS systems, printers, and barcode scanners.
• Reliable, dependable, and professional in appearance and conduct.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, and move garment racks throughout the day.

Schedule Requirements

Applicants must be available to work during store operating hours to cover employee absences, vacations, or other operational needs:

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Total hours needed: 20-25 hours a week
