Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain health standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently.
- Maintain floor care by performing deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, and applying floor finishing techniques as needed.
- Manage janitorial responsibilities for both indoor and outdoor areas, including trash removal, window cleaning, and outdoor surface maintenance.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each visit.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments such as custodial or janitorial roles.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment operation, and sanitation standards required for various environments.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care products, and carpet cleaning tools.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina.
- Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus.
