Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
- Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cash register operations and basic math calculations
- Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring quality standards are met at all times
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role with coffee experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods seamlessly
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for all guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation
