Job Description: Warehouse Attendant
Key Responsibilities
- Follow written and oral work instructions to determine materials to be moved and location to which they are to be moved.
- Load, unload and move materials, supplies and products within the plant, yard or warehouse.
- Ship finished products.
- Pick Parts for internal and external orders
- Pack parts for internal and external orders
- Transport loads using various moving devices.
- Weigh materials and record information.
- Monitor materials and products.
- Receive inventory and goods.
- Document location of parts and components.
- Inventory materials.
- Maintain proper operating distance between equipment and fixed objects, such as racks and machines while operating fork trucks.
- Maintain proper operating speeds while in plant and warehouse while operating fork trucks.
- Maintain area in a safe and clean environment.
- Rotate tasks within the work group.
- Work extra hours to maintain production needs if necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Position requires the ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions, to work accurately with numerical records, and to schedule time effectively.
- Requires effective interaction with company personnel, including supervisors and managers, as well as outside transportation firms.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalency preferred.

- Job Description: Manufacturing
- Effectively set up and operate machinery to perform multiple turning, grooving, hollowmilling and drilling operations.
- Effectively set up and operate machines to perform finishing.
- Work from operational prints to set up machines.
- Set up and operate small hydraulic milling machine.
- Make necessary adjustments/changes to maintain quality of set-up and production.
- Maintain quality by checking components using various gauges and measuring devices applicable to the operation.
- SPC data collection as required.
- Maintain machines with minor repairs under supervisory direction.
- Maintain coolant levels and lubrication as prescribed.
- Detect faulty operations or tool problems and report to supervisor.
- Maintain necessary written and electronic process/labor documentation.
- Maintain machine and work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Perform additional duties as required by the position.
- Rotate tasks within the work group.
- Operate various hand tools and measuring devices.
- Work extra hours to maintain production needs if necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Position requires basic math and basic mechanical skills. Requires the ability to understand and execute verbal written instructions and to work effectively with others, including production supervisor and quality department personnel. Must be able to perform with accuracy, meeting or exceeding required manufacturing standards.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalency preferred. Vocational training helpful. Previous experience within the manufacturing environment and /or similar mechanical/production life experiences preferred.
- Must possess physical dexterity and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds from the floor frequently throughout the assigned work shift. Position requires repetitive activity involving the wrist, hands and fingers. May involve frequent bending, reaching and standing for long periods of time.
