Job Description: Manufacturing Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Effectively set up and operate manufacturing equipment.
- Work from operational prints to set up machines.
- Make necessary adjustments/changes to maintain acceptable tolerances.
- Use gauges, calibers, other measuring devices to ensure the accuracy of produced product to the print.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reporting any discrepancies or concerns.
- Perform control plan requirements such as sign-off of “first piece” articles.
- Troubleshoot and correct machine set up problems.
- Perform operator preventative maintenance.
- Maintain coolant levels and lubrication as prescribed.
- Maintain necessary written and electronic process/labor documentation.
- Work extra hours to maintain production needs if necessary.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Perform 5s activities in the work cell.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required; vocational or technical training preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing, machine setup, machining, CNC operation, or related experience preferred.
- Demonstrated reliability through consistent attendance, strong work performance, and commitment to previous employers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical dexterity and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds from floor level.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to participate in job rotation assignments.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
