Salary: $28.15 per hour/ 8 hrs per day 210 days per year

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
-
Two years experience in secretarial related field

Experience working with Microsoft Office Software
-
Valid Washington State Drivers License
-
Can obtain clearances from Washington State Patrol/FBI background check
Preferred Qualifications:
-
College training in business, accounting, human resources, public relations or demonstrated successful experience in these areas.

Secretarial/Clerical experience in a public school financial management system.
-
Experience working in Skyward/Citrix desired.
Knowledge and Abilities:
-
Knowledge of and ability to successfully use a relational database student records and financial management system.

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with students, staff and parents.

Perform in a manner to protect student and staff confidentiality.

Exhibit an appropriate demeanor conducive to a public work setting associated with being a role model for children, youth and other employees.

Good organizational skills.

Reliable and responsible with good work ethic and regular attendance.

Computer literate and comfortable with MS Office Applications, Google Platform, E-mail, and Internet usage
Essential Job Functions:
- Answer telephone. Greet public and provide routine information and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or office. Make phone calls to request, provide or verify information as directed.
- Work cooperatively and positively to assist students, staff and parents in the office.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy, organization and neatness in document production.
- Keep accurate ASB/Food Service records as directed to prepare mandated state and/or federal reports per audit requirements.

Consistently meets required deadlines.

Perform clerical functions related to ASB and Food Service as required.

Be available to meet with state auditor

Daily utilization of computer, copier, fax, and printers to duplicate and distribute a variety of records, reports and other materials as directed.

Communicate to the staff information which affects their area of responsibility.

Coordinate, register, prepare travel arrangements for staff professional development (campus-wide)

Assist staff in making purchases by researching products and services and assisting with the completion of purchase requisitions.

Input approved purchase requisitions for the Neah Bay Campus (including ASB) using SKYWARD and Citrix Software on-line system

Perform Data Entry and prepare reports as directed for areas of responsibility (ASB, Food Service, Purchasing) using SKYWARD.

Participate in in-service and related professional growth activities as assigned and appropriate.
- Perform other necessary and reasonable duties as assigned.
