Lawn Care Spray/ Fertilzation Technician

NEA Lawn Pro is a locally owned full maintenance company in Jonesboro, AR. We are professional and agile and take pride in servicing both commercial and residenial clients in NEA.

We are looking for a Lawn Care Spray Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Weed Control & Fertilization services to our customers. We also provide shrub spraying services along with spraying for flower bed weeds. The ideal candidate will have experience with weed control and fertilization applications and already have an applicator license and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The Lawn Technician must also be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair spray equipment- mixing and loading products.
• Perform routine maintenance on spray equipment including calibration of equipement.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides according to manufacturer's instructions.
• Inspect and diagnose problems with lawns.
• Identify and remove weeds, pests, and diseases from lawns.
• This is an outdoors job in which you will be pulling a hose each day and spray the lawns in all weather (cold and the summer heat)

Applicant requirements:

• Able to pass an applicator exam with the State of Arkansas
• Able to pass DOT physical
• At least 25 years of age
• A valid Drivers license with clean motor vehicle record is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
